A TRIBUTE TO MY DARLING SISTER
Sister mi, as I fondly called you. I’ve always known you as my sister and father, funny as it may sound, since the demise of our lovely father Pa Saula Banwo when I was barely 5 months old.
Mama Bimpe, I can remember vividly well way back in the 60’s when I was about 11years old, staying with you in
Our sweet mother, Alhaja, nurtured me through life with your help and that of your darling husband, daddy, of blessed memory to whom I am today. You never relented in showing my family and I love and understanding. Till your demise, you never stopped seeing me as your little brother who needed your motherly love always. You were a solid pillar that held the family together always, a ready hand in times of trouble and trying periods. You never stopped demonstrating your love in so many ways I cannot quantify to my family and me, most especially in the education and upbringing of my children and their cousins alike.
Sister mi, I take solace in my belief that almighty Allah has prepared for you one of His most glorious mansions in alujana. I pray He judges you with the good you did to mankind and humanity. Till we meet to part no more.
Rest in the right hand of God my darling sister, friend, and confidant.
